I have a similar problem but not with monitor. I can not get my ATI Radeon 7000 video card to be recognized in RH 7.0. Does anyone else have this video card working in RH 7.0 and if so, can you tell me how you got it to work? Interestingly enough, the probe did pick up my Samsung SyncMaster 151v (LCD) monitor properly. I have Redhat 7.0 installed. I'd like to try out Gnome or KDE but I'm not gettting anywhere trying to configure it manually and the probe dosen't work. Can anyone help? You are not doubt using Xconfigurator to do the configuration. Try to use either xf86cfg or xf86config. But to use these you need to know the specifications of your monitor and video card. -- ------------------------------------------- Aaron Konstam Computer Science Trinity University 715 Stadium Dr. San Antonio, TX 78212-7200 telephone: (210)-999-7484 email:[email protected] _______________________________________________ Guinness-list mailing list [email protected] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/guinness-list
