First you should post 80 character lines with carriage returns which
would make your message easier to edit.
As I understand it you configured the machine without it being
connected to the network.
Does the file : /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 contain
the line ONBOOT=yes? On booting do you see the eth0 come up.
One quick test is to type: ifup eth0
and see if the network then works.
Another problem can be in the /etc/resolv.conf file. Is it properly
configured?`
