Yes, it will work out of the box with Red Hat Linux 7.0 or greater.

That depends on what exactly you want to do.  If you just want a home 
system and you want to learn Linux, 8.0 is probably best.  If you want a 
  server, I would recommend 7.3 (although 7.2 is very similar to 7.3).
