Sendmail

I've setup a red-hat 7.2 linux server and I'm trying to get sendmail to
work.  I can use pine just fine but my problem is with the pop account.
When I telnet to the server with port 110, I get an error message: ipop3d:
error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0: cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory

I don't have a libssl.so.0 file on the box.  Is there some where I can build
this file or obtain it and configure it for the machine?
