question with broken X

When i boot RH7.0 box i get (before going into login
window):

-FontTransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno=111
Fatal server error.
could not open default fault 'fixed'

X connection to :0.0 broken (explici kill or server
shutdown)

then at reboot stops at

Running linuxconf hooks:   

any clues?.
