If you already formated after installing linux, what you need to do to
fix the boot: is to either reinstall linux or use a linux boot floppy or
cd-rom to remove the lilo/grub boot loader.  You can do this by using
the linux fdisk.  Windows boot disks can not remove a grub/lilo boot
loader.
