Yes, you cant format your 40 gig disk. Just do a normal format comment in dos for the drive. Then rh setup will ask you to format your disk. Not sure about exact wording, but you choose "Disk Druid". You need a swap file and either ext2 or ext3 file format you need to make using disk druid. As far as I know, its like a normal windows installation. I had 2 network cards plug and play and they were automactically found during installation.:) Same should be for you Ben >From: "alex" <[email protected]> >Reply-To: [email protected] >To: [email protected] >CC: [email protected] >Subject: mq 2 questions >Date: Sun, 29 Jun 2003 15:17:42 -0800 > >hi, >can my 40GB harddisk be formatted using rh7.0? >how do i get my internal modem and sound card to get >recognized by rh7.0?. >-- > alex > [email protected] > >-- >http://www.fastmail.fm - Accessible with your email software > or over the web > > >_______________________________________________ >Guinness-list mailing list >[email protected] >https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/guinness-list Ben, Full time punk _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam?
