Another one of the benefits of open source software.  Freedom of 
choice.  Both of the individual software applications that one 
uses, and of the entire operating system distribution itself.

Some suggested alternatives you might want to compare Red Hat 
Linux with include:  Mandrake, Debian, SuSE, Slackware, and 
other fine distributions.

I recommend trying as many out as you can, and choosing the 
distribution that meets your needs the best.
