With nothing else but Mozilla Mail running (not ever SETI@home),
see how the mozilla bloats memory usage:
Open Mozilla mail *only* (don't even open the browser!).
(Open the Gnome System Monitor)
Open about four or five messages in HTML, and select "edit message".
For added visual effect have the system monitor applet running in the
panel.
On my machine, Mozilla will quickly consume up to 321 Mb of my 512 Mb
system memory.... 8-0

Oh, and BTW, why does sendmail taks so long to load at bootup??
