How often is it important?

Maybe that should be, "How often is it unimportant?"

Consider XE and Kmail.

In Kmail, click "Reply" and then the X-box. The composer closes immediately.
XE? Click "Reply" and then the X-box."

"Do you want to save your changes?"
Yes No Cancel.

Kmail asks only if you've changed the reply text.


Or even useful? I'd happily have gdm always assume I want the same DTE I used 
last time rather than make me stop and ask questions whenever I change. BTW, 
it's button-order is different from XE's.
