that seems like a concept error in how eject works.
If the idea is to be able to "eject mountpoint" as a user without having
to worry about /dev/  at all....then eject should be smart enough to
figure out which device...and not the partition to use for that
mountpoint.  Seems like the usb storage stuff just kinda falls outside
what people normally think about when  using eject.

doesnt eject /mnt/zip work ...even though zipdrives get mounted like
partitions?  Its not clear to me that this is really the problem...I
have to check my zip drive at home....this might just be a usb specific
problem and not an eject partition mount point problem.

Though I'd have to say my compact flash reader doesn't see any of these
problem I just mount and unmount...no need for eject at all...so its
sounds more and more like a smart media specific problem and not
necessarily a general usb storage problem.
