This raises a number of questions:

If Linux is just like Windows, where's the choice?

Does Linux need to be similar to other GUI if it is going to be easy to
use for the average user?

Can Linux use the same UI as Windows and still differentiate itself on
other levels (file compatibility, standards, stability)?

Should Linux limit itself by imitating Windows or MacOS when it
could/should be inovating (whatever that means these days ;-])?


Personally, I believe that Linux will initially make a dent in the
business market, where interface is less important than management?  But
I'm sure I'm wrong on both accounts ;-]
