Just talked to Red Hat. The official release date, including ISOs, is Monday. Anybody who wants to comment on the new version is welcome to drop me a line. I'm writing a story on the new version today. And what exactly were you guys able to download? sts Stephen Shankland, reporter, CNET News.com [email protected] phone: 415-344-2406 Yahoo Messenger/AIM: stshank MSN Messenger: [email protected] 235 Second St., San Francisco, CA 94105 fax: 415-344-1242 -----Original Message----- From: Tom Georgoulias [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, September 25, 2002 9:26 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: hacked? Hey, if you can't wait a few more days for Red Hat to make the announcement and want to use an ftp site that isn't following the standard procedures (for whatever reason, good or bad), you get what you deserve. We've all been running the beta and know what 90% of the final release will look/be like. The big differences now are just bug fixes, tweaks, and minor improvements. It's time to sit back and wait for the natual course of events. The wheels are in motion. (Really Babu, they are. ;) Tom _______________________________________________ Limbo-list mailing list [email protected] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/limbo-list
