To get me into using GNOME, somebody must manage to persuade me with more than an URL to some web page. ;) And one comment on this "aggressive Red Hat branding" scenario that is happening with regard to KDE/GNOME, I don't care. I have other things to do than /. or bashing Linux distributors. I want the X desktop to be both stable and usable. I don't need a hundred settings and knobs somewhere deep in the configuration menus. And when something is missing, it won't be implemented unless a few thousand other users would request it, too. In the three beta versions I didn't see so many changes that would disturb me. Hence I'll wait till 8.0 is available and then see whether I like it or not. The same with regard to the term "crippleware". If many users think 8.0 contains crippleware, I'm certain Red Hat will notice and will think about it. --
