How to change user-agent in Mozilla [was: Bero goes bye bye]

UAbar and Java don't like each other - Mozilla will crash if both are
there.

It's there for some time now, but well-hidden in the documentation. Look
in the JavaScript documentation, where the options in the prefs.js file
are explained. Add this line to the file:

user_pref("general.useragent.override","This will be the user agent!");

This should also work with Netscape 7.
Some Internet Explorer user agents from my logfile:
"Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98)"
"Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)"
Of course this doesn't help with broken websites or incompatible
JavaScript.
