I think there is an error in the libc.so.6 (of course in the linked
libc-2.3.1.so)., because if i try the following command:
ldd /lib/libc.so.6

i received this error message:
Incorrectly built binary which accesses errno, h_errno or _res directly.
Needs to be fixed.
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)

The same command on my RedHat 7.3 system succeeded.
Any ideas ?

Greetings
René
