Being around when Mandrake started offering iso images of their
releases. Because of the ease that downloding the CDs provide, I used
Mandrake until Red Hat started offering iso images.

The best way to ruin the whole success that Red Hat has had, so far, is
to make it harder to get.

I love the availability of the iso images for download. It is a great
way to get more people to use the distribution.

Being that Linux is still a rather small sector, behind M$ and the MAC.
I don't think adding too many restrictions to availability would add to
profitability. It would just switch the dominating distribution to
another version of the product.
