You're not the only one, the man does not write standard English and does not yet know enough Linux
jargon. I know why  & how this happens but too complex too explain.

INTO -> bootup and have it work. For the moment I still am stuck in windows.
Gnome is default install, shows 5 icons in the bottom panel RH menu, mail, Office, .?...  I cannot get
to other packages like KDE, etc.  Since these funny package labels don't show what they do, I want to
look them all over and then decide which ones to use. Have a 5 gig Linux partition so can be a bit messy
for starters. Need guis to start with.

I write, learned academic stuff, poetry, non-standard science, philosophy, etc, email some, surf to
research. So that's a second order gaol. First comes getting RH working, so far not much success. Next,
since I want things the way I like them, I will see  how far I can get into Linux to modify things; did
that in DOS. Not too worked up about that. I theoretically grasp how PCs and programming works but have
been unable to learn actual programming.  Need to update 6.0 bugs, and update to 9.0 but no rush for
that.

I gather psyche likes it terse and to the point? Nice, if I knew how to start with.
