quota with postfix and courier

Hi,

I wanted to know whether postfix 1.1.12 released by redhat supports quota on
maildir format mailbox or not ? If it does then how can I use mysql with it
for storing quota limit ?

Do I have to enable quota on filesystem to use quota with postfix or courier
?

Also if I am implementing quota with postfix as well as courier then how is
quota actually controlled. Who controls the quota, when and how ?
