Re: "top" generates Floating point exception (core dumped)

    You should be able to get more information about the error by using
"strace top".  But to understand a floating point exception, you may need
to look at the source from procps-2.0.7-8.src.rpm.  You could also try
getting a more recent version of the procps source, compile it, and
see if that has the same problem.
