USUALLY, IRQ 10 is used by some ISA/PnP network cards.
 I'd check to see if that's the case.

Also, when you first boot your computer, there is a
screen before LILO/Grub does it's thing.  This screen
flashes fairly quickly, but it may tell you what's
using the IRQs in your system.
