MRTG /SNMPWALK problem

greetings all,

Has anyone installed MRTG on their Redhat 7.1 system?

I'm in user/local/src 
typeing ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mrtg-2, which doesnt work
so I skipped

when I use cfgmaker  with the appropriate commands, I get a problem 
SNMPWaLK problem, has anyone come across this? What do I need to do to 
fix?
