My scsi card does not show up in the KDE scsi section, only my scsi devices do. Does your scsi card have a bios that shows up at boot. Mine shows up right after the motherboard bios information. Is says "Press CTL-A for scsi select. Pressing CTL-A stops the boot sequence and lets me into the scsi board bios. Once there, you can check to see if the scsi card recognizes your cdr drive. If not, you can' t progress to the operating system until you resolve this issue. Make sure you have your scsi line terminated correctly. The documentation for your scsi card should help you there. Assuming that you have the CDR recognized by the card, you can move on to checking that your modules are loaded
