I have to use control-C to break out of the hanged program to = return control to my session. Has anyone experienced similar issues with ipchains -L ( which is meant to list all of your existing rules? ) Jason ------=_NextPart_000_017D_01C33FCB.FCCA1940 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.00.3315.2870" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>Hi, </FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>I have noticed that sometimes, even = after</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>restarting my Red Hat 7 (Seawolf) = machine</FONT><FONT=20 face=3DArial>, that when I run the </FONT><FONT face=3DArial>"ipchains = -L" command=20 from root, the command hangs after displaying the header line.
