i'm having a problem more or less like u.
RH9 could detect my monitor and graphic card but i could only use 600 x 480
resolution. However with this resolution i could only view about 75 % of
the window sometimes. This is worse with 800 x 600 resolution or higher.
i'm still looking for the solution.
