cant resolve host names (using AD DNS)

i have an internal active directory DNS servers here. My RH9 box cant
resolve internet names using the AD DNS servers. Is there something special
I have to do?  The windows clients can ping via host name fine..

 

My redhat box is obtaining its information via DHCP. It can ping WAN
addresses by IP, but not by hostname.
