HOW TO Try yum from http://www.linux.duke.edu/projects/yum/download.ptm Install as 'root' as an # RPM and then as 'root' run # yum update good and it takes about a week using 56K dialup. OK? No Way. Now purchase an ADSL USB MODEM the Billion BIPAC-7000 Pro or BIPAC- 7100 Pro is a good choice . Old stock at $ 60 AUD. Download the RH 9 Driver (Only works with the default kernel 2.4.8) from www.billion. com, install, launch, and configure according to the Quick Start Guide.
