The cron daemon refused to start some cron jobs with 'Bad File Mode': Mar 16 04:33:29 xyz crond[25798]: (*system*) BAD FILE MODE (/etc/cron.d/domino_cleanup.d) But the permissions on /etc/cron.d/domino_cleanup.d are alright: # ls -la /etc/cron.d/domino_cleanup.d -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 130 16. Mär 14:49 /etc/cron.d/domino_cleanup.d and # service crond restart fixed the problem and cron runs fine again.
