To be a little more specific, you can download the ISO's, and then copy
the RedHat/RPMS directory somewhere, and run an rpm -Fvh against all of
those RPM's. It will only update those RPM's that are currently
installed.

Also - this is a perfect use for an RHN Satellite. That way, you can
still use up2date, and promote only those errata that have been
thouroughly tested in your environment into your channel, having a
separate channel for development, staging, and production. Satellite is
quite expensive, however. It really depends on how many servers you
have to manage.

Within RHN, go to Channels I think, and you can navigate to the
ISO's.

		Hi

This should be a simple question hopefully.

I currently have RHEL ES 3 with updates 3 and I need to
install update 4 only as the software has only been tested with update
4. I don't want to use up2date because it looks as though it will
download the latest update of 8 I think it is.

Is there a way for me to download the cd's I require and
do an upgrade only to update 4? Or do I have to download all the ISO's
and reinstall?

		Thanks,

		Daniel.
