up2date and release versions

I've been googling and searching RH knowledge base for this question but
have not found anything yet.

 

I have an application that is only approved on a specific RH version,
ie, 4.3.  If I run up2date will it upgrade

To 4.4, or is there a way to keep it at 4.3?  Or, does it even make
sense to run up2date?
