Hi.. I just installed my RHEL ver 3. As I did not plug the cable to my ethernet port during the installation. I found ifconfig only show interface lo (loopback). May I know how to enable eth0, I had plug in cable to Eth0 and restart but it still doesn't come up I went to /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ folder I only found ifcfg-lo and I don't see ifcfg-eth0, I tried to copy ifcfg-lo to ifcfg-eth0 and edit but I found that I don't know eth0's MAC addresss I also went to Gnome GUI-->Network--> add Ethernet connection but I failed to activate it , it prompt me driver not correct, I tried to select the driver from the list but no luck all not correct Any help ? ____________________________________________________________________________________ Want to start your own business?
