I am running RedHat AS release 3 Taroon update 4 on HP DL740 server. When I login to my user account see the following shell prompt -bash-2.05b$ When normally I should be seeing the following shell prompt [fred1@systema fred1]$ Also when I create a file using vi editor and try to save the file, I get the an error message saying "text.txt" E212: Can't open file for writing" and then I hit enter where upon I am out back into vi. I can exit vi if I quit form it. Can anyone help me. Thanks -- Taroon-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/taroon-list
