I can exit vi if I quit form it.<br><br></div>You can't write to that filesystem, I can think of three possible<br>options off the top of my head:<br> <br>1) Your filesystem is mounted readonly (could be caused by an error on<br>the filesystem)<br><br>Run "mount" and check that the filesystem containing your home directory<br>says rw after it. Post the output if you're not sure. "mount -o<br> remount,rw" will make it writeable but you may need to run "fsck" on it<br>if it's broken.<br><br>2) If you are running quotas, you are out of quota.
