RE: latest versions

Hi,

We performed several i686 upgrades from RHEL AS3/i686 to AS4/i686, it 
worked fine but in some cases some minor cleanups had to be performed (I 
think some packages which were obsoleted had remained on the upgraded 
machines, etc..). The recommended uprade path is indeed to do a CD or DVD 
boot. and choose to 'upgrade' Note that if you're upgrading today (mid-nov 
2008), then it may be relevant for you to go 64bit (x86_64) but take note 
that there is -no- i686 to x86_64 upgrade path, only a clean re-install 
will do in that case..
