Hi guys Is it possible to make an iso image, suitable for burning to a dvd, with the version of mkisofs that comes with Valhalla? Ive tried making an image using the normal procedure, which seems to be pretty much default (mkisofs -o file.iso data/) and it creates the iso file fine. However, when trying to burn to a dvd on a windows machine (after transferring) the dvd is not readable. I can burn a dvd using nero, but in just writes the file.iso to the dvd, not the individual files contained in the iso. If I try and use nero, and go file, open, browse to the iso, as recommended by a colleague, the dvd writes, but again, is not readable. Is this a problem with the way im making the iso file? Do I need to upgrade my version of mkisofs to enable it to make 4.3 gig iso files correctly? Currently I dont see any options when running mkisofs by itself, for DVD images, or a term ive heard little of: udf. Please assist if possible, my project relies on mkisofs.
