rh7.3 and sendmail

Hi,

We have RH7.3 and sendmail-8.11.6-27.73.  I want to upgrade to sendmail
8.12+. Can I just download it from sendmail web site and install it on
rh7.3?  Does the newer version require something special and work with rh7.3?
