It looks like our hardware vendor sold us a ServeRAID adapter (6i) that 
is incompatible with our machine type - 8647 (xSeries 225).  It looks as 
if we will be getting a 4LX ServeRAID adapter, which is compatible with 
the 8647 machine type.  Thanks for the link though, it may be useful in 
the future if we get a system compatible with the 6i.
