	We have sucessfully installed gcc-3.2 on RHL7.3 
systems. It's a bit of a pain. You need to get all the
libraries AND gcc-3.x binaries are incompatible with
2.x so third party libraries have to be coordinated. But
it does work and is somewhat superior to 2.xx .
