Wow.  original-release rh6.2 is a total security disaster on a
network if it is accessable from the internet.  There are many, many
security and bugfixes for it.

One it is upgraded though, it is a proven solid and stable platform
(one of redhat's best).

typical of the priorities of most management.

BTW, go for rh7.3 (with updates), or perhaps rh8.1 will be around by
the time you finally do upgrade.
