  Subject: Filesystem Error

  HEllo,

  I just had a power flactuation that took down my UPS and caused my =
server to reboot. Unfortunately the server is not coming back up. During =
reboot, I get the following error:

  fsck.ext Attempt to read block for filesystem resulted in short read =
while trying to open /dev/hdb1

  An error occured during the file system check. Dropping to root for =
maintenance.=20

  Have I lost all my data? What do I do to fix it and what is the =
command sequence? Any assitance will be greatly appreciated.

  Regards,

  Dan
