Thanks for your reply,
My Samba version is samba-2.0.6-9.
Could pls explain or send a document about security patches ...or link and
were to download.
In my pervious mail i have said that because of this "smb_read_inode called
from invalid point" problem in am not able to take
backup but last night our backup script worked fine !!!

But the actuall problem is say for an example if i am working in the first
console and then i mount a windows share
this error   "smb_read_inode called from invalid point" display such a way
that i am not able working in any console.
thatis  1 to 6(all console except XWindows) . Pls help me...
