The RHAPS packages use a new community-suppored packaging scheme
called jpackage. They do not interoperate with the gcj-compiled
packages that come with RHEL. The RHEL java packages would normally
be removed when the RHAPS Java stack is installed, but sometimes
this automatic removal/upgrade does not work. You may need to
perform a manual "rpm -e OLDPACKAGE" sequence first. (We're
working on an automated solution to this problem.)
