mouse properties

Hi
 
Ive just moved from rh9 to fedora. Im pretty sure with redhat 9 in the
->preferences->mouse->cursors options i could choose from a few simple
cursor types, like white, black, etc. In fedora, i just get some cursor size
options. Is this correct? And if so, how would i go about actually changing
the default cursor?
