If you are talking about the keyboard not working after the media check screen came up. I had a similar problem and disabled USB legacy support in BIOS. I'm not sure if this did any good or not. Using a different machine, I downloaded the first Severn beta, that had acpi enabled in the kernel. It installed with both factors completed. (legacy USB support disabled in BIOS and ACPI enabled in the kernel.) Just my experience, maybe one or both ideas will get you up and running on the machine.
