Anyone Using OpenLDAP?

I installed OpenLDAP on one of my Fedora drives and spent this entire 
weekend working with the inetOrgPerson objectClass and learning how to 
programmatically connect to the LDAP server and do adds, modifies, and 
deletes. Basically a good, fun experience for me too. Is anyone else 
using LDAP? Especially for authentication purposes?
