Hi folks -

Using wine, running into trouble. One app here (Quickbooks) is working great
under it, but the Xilinx toolchain is giving the following error

[agreen@fastcat agreen]$ /usr/bin/wine
/home/agreen/cxoffice/support/dotwine/fake_windows/xilinx/bin/nt/ise.exe
Warning: could not find wine config [Drive x] entry for current working
directory /home/agreen; starting in windows directory.
err:virtual:map_image Standard load address for a Win32 program (0x00400000)
not available - security-patched kernel ?
/usr/bin/wine: could not load 'C:\Xilinx\bin\nt\ise.exe' as Win32 binary

[agreen@fastcat agreen]$ /usr/bin/wine --version
Wine 20030911

I googled around and heard about chstk, which I see is meant to be in the
kernel-utils RPM, whose changelog says

* Fri May 02 2003 Arjan van de Ven <[email protected]>
  - add chstk for setting non-exec stack flags

But it doesn't seem to be in there

[root@fastcat agreen]# rpm -q --list kernel-utils
/etc/firmware/microcode.dat
/etc/rc.d/init.d/irqbalance
/etc/rc.d/init.d/microcode_ctl

Besides, I turned off exec shield

[root@fastcat agreen]# echo "0" > /proc/sys/kernel/exec-shield

and it didn't make any difference.

Any ideas?

- -Andy
