Well Mike,

your digest mode suggestion doesn't clarify Dishaw's question (which is my 
doubt too). I'm taking a ride on the topic to live-test how it works.

What Dishaw needs 2 know (n me 2) is whether some post --which is NOT a 
direct reply but a result of copying/pasting from the ARCHIVE-- will be 
neatly accomodated inside a thread, based on _Subject_ contents alone.

This post is being made in such a way, so we'll get to see the actual 
results in a few minutes.
