That are two steps. First you have to find a Laptop whose hardware is well supported in Linux. Most of the Siemens/Fujitsu are as well as IBM Model R-series and T-series (not the centrino modells). For the second step I suggest to search the list's archive for dual-boot and you will find several hints.
