here are the few commands for RAID
Hope this would be useful to you...

cat /proc/mdstat  ( Showing the RAID STATISTACS )

mdadm is the command for RAID if you wann to add any drive
1st your are supposed to create a physical volume
thru mdadm--create command go for syntax thru MAN PAGES
