rhn rpm database sync?

Folks, I had to partition off space for /var a couple days ago (was just one big chunk of memory before). I copied all the files over from the old /var space to the new partition and everything seemed fine. However, redhat has now forgotten what packages I have. I've tried rpm --rebuilddb . It exits immediately with no errors. rpm -qa shows no packages (but i have a bunch of them obviously). Is there a way that rhn can tell my system what packages it has? rhn-profile-sync does something similar, but the opposite direction. Thanks! Mike
